Valentine’s Day Ideas for Boyfriend

Make this Valentine's Day unforgettable for your boyfriend. You want to know how?

Some of the best Valentine's Day ideas for boyfriend

Valentine’s Day is coming up. Are you running out of ideas! Like, I have given so many gifts already…I made a Scrapbook, I made a jar full of notes, bought him shirts, leather bracelets, letters, DVDs, candy, snacks, drinks and all that jazz. Now, I wanna do something out of the ordinary? Something he will really like and enjoy. Right? From what I’ve asked around most women are really confused when it comes to deciding what to give their men. Maybe, some of these tips would help?

Actions Affect Feelings

How can you deepen your love for someone?

The way God created us, actions affect our feelings most. The best way to feel loving is to be loving -- and that means giving. While most people believe love leads to giving, the truth (as Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler writes in his famous discourse on loving kindness) is exactly the opposite: Giving leads to love.

So when you are planning give something special for him, start trying to think of the things that he would like the best, even if they are totally unexciting or unromantic to you. Sounds awkward! Correct? I know, you have to often hold your nose because they don’t seem like the way to celebrate a romantic holiday to you as a woman; but they are the ones that if any of you are truly trying to win over the heart of a man, will work like the proverbial charm.

Valentine’s Day Ideas for Him

Men are simple

Give Him What He loves most!

It's the thought that counts

Crafty things like balloons, poems, scrapbook or candy trails – what he would probably think of as something out of chick flick, tend to appeal feminine romantic notions rather than men’s. But there are certainly no lack of ideas for a girlfriend or wife to create a special day, it just comes down to being careful to remember that what they are doing is not necessarily what they would want for themselves. Men’s are not complicated that way.

Speaking to some male friends of mine, the immediate response to their Valentines Day needs were, “gadgets, something erotic, or something hilarious”.

Take a step back and think what would your special guy like the best?

Is he a Gadget freak?

Boys love their toys. That seven year old in men never die. Mobile phones, mp3 players, I-pod, GPS, laptops, digi-cams, faster engines in their cars, you name it, they want it. Getting your man a brand new phone or 32 GB Ipod would be a really good bet. Find out which gadget of his he has been cribbing about lately, which is not a very hard thing to do, because if their gadget is faulty you will hear about it.

Weekend Getaway Trip
Perfect For: The Guy Who Works 60 Hours a Week

A few days away at a local getaway is the perfect way to recharge your boyfriend or husband. This gift is a bit of a splurge, but it's a welcome surprise for overworked guys.

Fool him by buying a piece of luggage or a travel case and presenting that to him wrapped up as his Valentine's Day present. If you're giving him luggage, pack enough clothing inside for two days away and print out a piece of paper with the hotel or ticket confirmation and place it on top.

For a travel case, add in a travel toothbrush, mini toothpaste and a nice set of men's travel cosmetics with the travel confirmation on top. Make sure you tell him to open it.

Then, watch as his face lights up when he realizes what the real gift is!

Give Him a Trophy

Best boyfriend in the world

One of the best Valentine's Day ideas for boyfriend is to give him a trophy proclaiming "Best boyfriend in the world". I believe there is no better gift for a man than to massage his ego. You might say that I am a woman of today and I do not need to do that. But still, I suggest for one day in the whole year, you can make him feel like a "superman" and you will reap its benefits for the rest of the days.

Cook for Him

As the old cliche goes, "the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach". You will undoubtedly be the coolest girlfriend or wife around when you brighten his Valentine's Day with delicious food. A woman needs love, care, protection, companionship, blah blah blah! But if you are wondering what a man needs? Food, sex and newspaper... Since reading newspaper will be damn boring and sex is something you have to decide depending upon your age and how deep you are into the relationship. So giving him delicious, home-cooked food is the best option. When planning a dinner for him, lay great emphasis on the surroundings as well. For example, keep candles on the table and good wine glasses.

Or, plan a romantic dinner.

Dress-up for Him

And of course the day usually ends in that private way between couples that in my opinion is much over discussed. Put on that sexy, little back dress and high heeled shoes. Be well groomed and properly waxed. Use proper make-up that highlight your best features and hide your flaws. In short, a time-tested Valentine's Day ideas for boyfriend is to become the woman of his dreams on Valentine's Day. Since men are considered to be more of visual creatures, he will appreciate your good looks and love you for the extra effort that you have put in to please him.

Not Only Saying “I love You”, But Showing It

Love is behaving lovingly through continual, unconditional giving

What? Leave out the chocolates and the hearts and pink stuff? Ladies, if you give your man a day like this, I promise each of you that he will feel that nothing is wanting. It is important for even well-meaning girlfriends and wives to admit to themselves (so they don't just keep trying to express their affection in a way that won't get results), that a lot of that stuff is the kind of thing THEY like, and that their men are totally different, simple, creatures.
